How do domain names work?
We have a TLD & a primary domain which makes up the URL of a website.
The primary domain name of my website would be ATXWD and the TLD would be .com
This is my entire website URL, https://atxwd.com/
Sub Domains
A subdomain of my website would be blog.atxwd.com/
In this example blog is the subdomain, .com is the (TLD) top level domain and ATXWebDeveloper is the Primary domain.
All together it makes up the unique URL that displays my blog page.
This could be any website that we create, or any name can be your subdomain. Another example would be my https://assets.dopemanmarketing.com/ website. Assets is the subdomain where I use to deliver the digital marketing assets to my clients of DopemanMarketing.com
Can you turn a subdomain into a primary domain name?
Yes, you can upgrade the name of your sub domain to a primary domain at any time. Contact Support to begin the upgrade process.
